So apparently striving (above and beyond) to help those who are too stupid, ignorant or both of achieving their education is putting a strain on both the resources and the minds of our educators across the board..... wow.... great survey people. Thanks for wasting our money at time once again.

The state is not our solution for Education. We need to take up the fight, build a new educational institution for ourselves since we can do it better.

Mark Twain once said... " Don't let your schooling interfere with your education."

That echos the state of our world today. You educate your self only as much as you allow. Your professor can't cram info into your brain, they can't make you want to learn, they can't make you do anything. Only you can. We all have access to public libraries to read, public computers to immerse ourselves in the deep pool of collective ideas, or sometimes lack thereof :P, called the web.

Our country is broken in so many ways. This is probably as good of a place as any to start since it will train future generations on how to fix stuff.

Brain Escape

So my brain right now feels like it packed up and left me for good. I have a spanish 1010 final exam 2moro. SWEET.. but then i start 1020 the next day lol so watev. Also in other fantastic news I have only 1 month and 5 days until I leave on my wonderful vacation of a trip for Maxwell AF base Alabama!!! 4 weeks or light exercise. warm sea breezes and beautiful evening strolls....... with my m4 carbine, 70 lb pack, field training manuals and my FTO (flight training officer) 'motivating' my fellows cadets and I on how worthless we are.

Today also halmarks the day where I am going to be running five miles a day until then so as to get my butt in better shape. Also im going to be eating less. This coupled with my rigorous 1020 class is probablly going to make me flip out on somebody close to me... ie my parents, but Ima do my best.

Btw.. anybody with a really good diet schedule... like healthy/body detox foods (not a diet plan, i can google that, but a list) would be lauded and commended on this blog by me if they would share it ;P

Apparently NASA has chosen a new space suit for our boys in orbit. (CLICK LINK ABOVE) Now I do have to say. That thing is pretty sweet looking. It's not baggy, Looks very clean and will probablly do a much better job than the crap we've been using recently.

Now on a serious note. Im sure the previous spacesuits our guys have been using have been wonderful. I mean NASA had their best men on it right? So why do I like this one so much more? Three reasons.
1) It's not baggy like the other suits... IE less likely to get caught on something and tear. For those unfamiliar with space decompression, if your suit tears... your blood boils in your body and you die a horribly painful death because of the pressure difference.
2) Looks absolutely awesome. Now being an astronaut looks cool, all the kids will want to do it. It also gives that kind of poster boy image to being an astronaut. You can almost see how they are going to stage photos to make the space program more appealing to kids.
3) Keeps our boys safe. With the advent of new technology they probably have something like aerogel in there which is AWESOME. If you don't know about aerogel i suggest you go find out.

After a fun night out partying with the boys... its back to work again as usual. Currently I am mixing tracks on my computer as that seems to be my new direction. I immensely enjoy it for reasons I can't explain other than passion welling up deep inside my chest cavity. Things that have not been awakened since ages past!

Anyways I go back to work 2night so there should be several posts to make up for the last couple of days and such. Find anything interesting be sure to let me know!

Seriously something is wrong with this country. We all know that we need to peel away the mountains of bureaucracy that this country has accumulated on EVERY level of government. When I was a kid my Dad whipped my ass when I did something wrong. I dindn't like it then... but thats the FUCKING POINT. I didn't do it again. So fuck pavlov and his dogs, we are humans, yes we can be trained but we have the ability to act instead of react like other animals.

Where do we begin. I believe by minimizing every aspect of government.

How to be late when your early.

So today I woke up to find my self 21 minutes past the hour..... the hour where I was supposed to be in class taking an EXAM! I threw on the first clothes I saw, jumped in my car and made it to the 1 hr parking in front of the building in 9 minutes... its normally a 12 minute drive or so when i just hop in the car.

Then it hits me... Im the only one parked here... I take another look at the clock and it's 730.... class starts in 30 minutes. That's what I get for being mentally retarded I suppose. Maybe I just need to get some sleep... newho... im resting now so later.

So there is soo much I need to learn about DJing that I am apprehensive to go and buy some stuff. I want the features that some of the higher end equipment offers. I can afford it, it'l just take some time.

The big question is..... WHAT functionality do I want from my product???? the answer I know is EVERYTHING

I want all the options so I don't have to buy something 6 months later when Im bored with the kiddy toys. I'd rather buy it now and just learn as I go. Anyways. I got lotz to think about and Im not sure where to start. I'd bug the hell of our Philch, since he seems to know what he's doing, but he's been helping me alot lately. So maybe i'll just research some more.

Anybody with any opinions about it PLLZZZZZ leave a comment for me. I'd like to hear your adivce!

After Midnight

So. It's after midnight here in the south central time zone... also known as Texas. All is well in the good old republic I suppose.... cept I can't sleep which is why i'm blogging. Im sure this has nothing to do with the fact that I have an Oral Presentation in Spanish 1010 tomorrow and I havn't practiced... hell i havn't even planned it yet! I am gonna talk about my family, pets, dreams etc... I know I can wing it for at least two minutes, however this has to be three to five so it could become a Gregorian chant by the time the clock approaches minute three. Time will tell I suppose. Not like 2moro isn't coming. Now I do suppose that It could come for me, I do have this genetic disorder called MORTALITY! Perhaps death is waiting at my door. If so, then I guess I wont get that DJ console i've been raving about... btw anybody who wants to donate funding to the program should contact me via e-mail. I will give you whatever you want... drugs... ... well, i'm celibate so that pretty much rules out sex, and the money... well I can't give it to you if I need it right now so e-mail me up. Together we can get higher than the moon in the ski right now.

So I suppose im gonna cruise the web a bit more and get bored and go to sleep but i'll leave you with one final thought...

At a minuscule price tag of only 2800 dollars I think i'll be able to afford this one..... YEAH RIGHT. Buti'm going for it. Ima borrow some money and pay the rest back.

I can get about 1g right off the bat by selling some of my current audio equip. I'll work for about 1g in a couple weeks. then ill see if the rent's / parents will chip in. I'm sure they will when I tell them ima save some money next semester and move in.

UGh. oh well. its worth it. i suppose

Now I just need a laptop so I can go mobile with it, however I think i'll just stick with teh desktop for now.

Exam in Spanish

So I just received my Spanish exam back from my prof...... 92. WOOT. still holdin out with an A in the class!!!! It's actually an accelerated class. An entire semesters worth in 2.2 weeks. It's rough. 6 hours a day of Spanish mon-thur. Thank God I took Spanish in high school and thank God I live in Texas. I would be lost without it.

Now while certainly not original, I think it is safe to say that all of us want robot heads. All guys want scanners in their helmet so as to see increased pheromone levels in females. The women don't need this feature because it is safe to assume that any male between the ages of 16-35 is prolly 'in the mood' or doesn't have a 'headache'.

Other benefits of helmets include night vision, enhanced eyesight as well as a guaranteed increase in male attractiveness.

So sign me up. Im in for the helmet revolution.

WEED WEED WEED.

Seems like the country gets up into arms about things sometimes and some of them are stupid. I personally think weed is one of them. The weed debate is stupid because weed is stupid. It's just a plant people. totally natural.

I see three sides two this story. The potheads who go crazy and can't talk about anything but how great weed is. The anti-drug advocates who can't stop talking about how bad weed is. And my favorite soft middle part of the people who don't give a crap about it and just enjoy the weed.

Now I swear that anybody who mentions ron paul or ross perot or his son or the like will get a digital boot to the face blitzkreig style. I'll let you make your point but come on... Try to make your Own ORIGINAL idea and back it up with logic. we all know statistics are bogus so steer away from them. think about if you can find weed. If you don't use it and you think you can... then it means it's everywhere anyways so your battle is lost. If you smoke weed and have a number, or are growing a plant in your closet, then you know this war is won.

WEED is everywhere. Easier for most people to get that cigarettes. I mean its not like your local contact is checkin id's before distributin.

I'm really interested to hear ya'llz opinions on this.

This brings up an interesting question. Is expensive and continuous research into the atomic world really making our lives better. Click the title above to view the Large Hadron Collider. Now, despite what everyone thinks this thing isn't going to bring about the end of the world.... or is it? The destructive power of this machine is not going to be a cataclysmic explosion of quarks, newons, and God knows what else but a financial implosion.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a pacifist, I am not anti-war, anti military or anything related. I am a staunch advocate of such. Not because I like those things but because in the fantasy world of the pacifists and anti-war junkies REAL PEOPLE hate and kill OTHER REAL PEOPLE. They starve them, they deprive them of basic necessities because they can, they enjoy it or are forced to to protect themselves.

This is a long round about way of saying:
At a projected expense of between 5 to 10 BILLION dollars....

When those atoms collide, they had better feed the hungry, stop bullets in the air, solve all of our problems and make fossil fuels 100% clean.

Anything short of those objectives is honestly a waste of our resources, patience and infinitely more important... our time.

Now for you nerds out there. ( namely me)
THe physicists who concocted this device believe that it willl help them better understand gravity. That ALMOST makes it worth it. I mean once we truely have the i's of gravity dotted and the t's crossed, were one hop away from anti gravity. which is sweet.

also, if it leads to the development of lightsabers, then everything previoulsy mentioned is null and void. except for the hunger thing. cause even hungry kids can sell lightsabers for food.

Ok. So people are great. I normally love meeting people from other parts of the world. however for this individual i just met i'll make an exception. Poor guy is staying at my hotel because he is studying to be a pilot. However his grasp on the English language at this point brings into question his ability to learn about flying. For those unaware or uninformed, English is the official language used by air traffic controllers in EVERY country across the globe. Now i'm not dissing this guy because he can't speak or comprehend English very well yet, I'm just being critical of the order with which he has chosen to proceed towards a pilot's license.
